Week 5

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

A NEW WAVE IN ME

Success in the Kingdom takes you!

PRAYER

God, be with us today as we reflect on and celebrate what you have done in and through each of us over the past five weeks. Amen.

Discuss:
What is your story?
How has your life been changed because of what Christ has done for you?

SCRIPTURE

Read Ephesians 3:14-21

What really stands out to you from this passage?

How could you use this prayer of Paul’s as a personal prayer for each individual in this group and for this church?

JOURNEY

This week, we conclude our five-week study. As a church, we have been given a God-sized vision—and it can't happen without you. However, this is not the end of the journey, but truly the beginning. Our mission will continue to be empowered by God to reach others for Christ.

Our prayer is that over the past five weeks you have grown closer to God than ever before. That you’ve learned the peace that comes only from complete dependence on God. That you’ve experienced the joy that comes from “growing in the grace of giving,” as Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 8:7. That you have a heart that is bursting with energy to see those who are far from God restored into relationship with him!

REFLECTION AND APPLICATION

Take the rest of your time together to reflect on and celebrate the journey God has taken you over the past five weeks. Look at your notes from the weekend messages, the Personal Journal, and this Group Study. As you do so, answer the following questions:

How has God worked in you over the course of this journey?  What areas in your life have been impacted?  How?

What do you sense God wanting to do in and through you in the future at Mariners Church?

Who are those individuals in your life that you would like to share Christ with—so that they “may know how wide, how long, how high, and how deep God's love really is”?

What have you seen God do in the life of your family, LifeGroup or other group through this study?

What might God want to do through them in the future?

What do you want to celebrate?

PRAYER

God, we thank you for the amazing things that you have done in each of our lives over the past five weeks. We pray that you would be honored through our response to your leading. We can’t wait to see what you do in our church, our communities, and our world in the years to come because of this journey that you have led us on. Help us see that this is not the end, but rather the beginning of amazing things to come. God, you are amazing, and we praise you for all that you have done. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20

Now, glory be to God! By his mighty power, at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope.
